Here For Now Theatre Company

Meet Fiona!

She's the founder and artistic director of Here For Now Theatre Company - their focus is to tell a variety of stories centering around ‘othered’ voices and silenced or lost histories, especially those of women. Fiona began working with the Perth CFDC throughout the pandemic to help get their shows up and running.

Due to the help of the Perth CFDC, Here For Now Theatre Company was able to commission eight world premiere plays and was integral in helping getting their theatre on the map. Fiona explained that the theatre industry requires a lot of up-front costs and with the loan provided by the Perth CFDC, her team was able to move forward financially before they sold any tickets.
